Ecks is a zombie NPC that was one of the major characters in The Shadowglen Underground. Her name comes from the large "x" mark on her forehead.
She dislikes Skitters and humans, believing that the term "Unliving" is offensive and that she and all her kind should be called zombies.
In 2012, Ecks was a major party in The Shadowglen Underground. She created a poison that would infect humans and turn them all into zombies.
When confronted by Skitters she denied the allegation stating that she was trying to help find a cure. She might now be able "co-rule" over the zombie population with Skitters.
