Characters are spread out across all of Subeta in the form on NPCs. Many of the characters appear during plots, others watch over the shops and the ones left over run the quests.
Each character of Subeta is the copyrighted property of the original authors. That means rondom fanfiction and fanart is possible, but no one can claim his/her own fan-version as official.
Have interests in everyone's own view of some character is fine, but arguing about it, is really meaningless.
