The Archan is a lion-like pet.
Appearance
The Archan (ARK-an) is a tan colored lion with a blue swirl pattern on its body and down its legs. It has a large golden mane with the same colored hair tufts off its from legs. Its tail ends in an almost feather patter that is white, to match its paws and underbelly. It has two long, blue strips of hair that stand out from its mane rather like antennae.

- The Archan can grow up to 5 foot (1.5 m) tall at the shoulder and weigh up to 800 lbs (364 kg), with females being significantly larger.
- The Archan's name originates from "Archangel" but the "gel" has been dropped.
- This species originates from the Sacred Lands which they have protected just out of sight since the dawning of time.
- Archans are nocturnal animals, and have keen eyesight, and live off a diet of meat.
